🎨 Clivia Colours & Varieties
Clivias are far more diverse than many gardeners realise. While the classic orange Clivia remains a tough, timeless favourite, our collection may also include soft pastels, peach, bronze, yellow, bi-colour and near-white tones.
We also grow and source more unusual Clivia types, including interspecific Clivias and selected rare forms. Green and variegated Clivias are highly collectable and are generally only released in limited numbers through our exclusive eBay auctions.
🌱 Tubestock & Flowering-Aged Clivias
We offer Clivias in different sizes depending on variety and availability.
50mm tubestock Clivias are young plants with strong future potential. They are ideal for patient gardeners, collectors, and anyone wanting to build a larger planting over time.
Flowering-aged Clivias are more established plants that are closer to blooming and are a better option if you want colour sooner.
Please note that yellow, green and some rare Clivias can take longer to reach flowering size, especially when purchased as young plants.
🪴 How to Grow Clivias
Clivias grow best in shade to dappled light, making them perfect for planting under trees, along shaded paths, on patios, or in large pots.
Plant into free-draining soil or a quality potting mix. Keep the soil lightly moist while plants are establishing, but avoid letting them sit wet. Once settled, Clivias are very tough and can handle dry periods better than many other shade-loving plants.
Protect plants from heavy frost and harsh midday sun. Feed during the growing season with a balanced fertiliser to support strong leaves, roots and future flowering.

Do you sell flowering-sized Clivias?
Yes. Selected varieties are available as flowering-aged plants. These are more mature and may flower sooner than young tubestock.
What colours are available?
Our Clivia range may include orange, pastel, peach, bronze, yellow, near-white, bi-colour and selected rare forms. Availability changes throughout the season.
What is included in a Lucky Dip Clivia?
A Lucky Dip is one surprise Clivia plant selected from available stock. It is priced individually, so if you order one, you will receive one plant.
How many plants will I receive?
Clivias are priced individually. The quantity you add to your cart is the number of plants you will receive. For example, if you order one, you will receive one plant.
How long do young Clivias take to flower?
Young tubestock Clivias may take around 3–4 years to flower, depending on variety, growing conditions and climate. Flowering-aged plants are more established and closer to blooming.
Can Clivias grow in pots?
Yes. Clivias grow very well in pots, provided the pot has good drainage and the plant is kept in shade or dappled light.
Where should I plant Clivias?

I’m re doing a section of of garden that has limited sunshine around the base of my Camellia’s and I’ve been trying to find a suitable plant that will tolerate filtered sun but still produce flowers which is why I selected this plant. It is my intention to buy more from you but it’s just a matter of selecting the colours. I have other Clivias in another section of the garden and they work really well in filtered sunlight.
I was delighted with the very healthy clivia which arrived only a few days after I had ordered. The label indicated a well chosen colour amidst the myriad of available colours. I can’t wait to see it blooming.
