Shipping Within Australia

All orders are dispatched from Oldboy’s Flowers via Australia Post or trusted courier partners.
Delivery costs and timeframes depend on the weight or cubic weight of your order and your delivery location.
Express delivery is not available to biosecurity-restricted states (WA, NT and TAS).


1. 📦 Shipping Costs

Non-Biosecurity States

(NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and ACT)

Standard Delivery (2–8 business days)includes cubic-weight calculation

  • Orders 4 – 4.99 kg → $31.39

  • Orders 5 – 10 kg → $49.99

  • Orders 10 – 15 kg → $69.95

  • Orders 15 – 25 kg → $119.95

  • Orders > 25 kg → Quote required

Express Delivery (1–4 business days)available on lighter parcels only

  • Orders 0 – 2 kg → $24.95

  • Orders 2 – 4 kg → $34.95

  • Orders 4 – 5 kg → $49.95

  • Orders > 5 kg → Quote required (express rates rise steeply on cubic parcels)


2. Biosecurity States – WA, NT & TAS

Standard Delivery Only (14–30 business days)

All shipments to these regions are inspected before dispatch under biosecurity law.
Rates include inspection, handling and extended-transit allowances:

  • Orders 0 – 2 kg → $24.95

  • Orders 2 – 4 kg → $34.95

  • Orders 4 – 4.99 kg → $45.95

  • Orders 5 – 10 kg → $64.95

  • Orders 10 – 15 kg → $84.95

  • Bulky / Cubic 15 – 25 kg → $159.95

  • Orders > 25 kg → Quote required

Inspection delays are common, and delivery can take several weeks depending on seasonal demand and quarantine scheduling.


🚚 Free Shipping – Terms & Conditions

Free standard shipping applies to orders over $160 within Australia (excluding WA, NT and TAS) if:

  • The parcel weighs under 4 kg,

  • No coupon code is used, and

  • The order is sent via Standard Delivery.

Free shipping does not apply to:

  • Orders to WA, NT or TAS

  • Bulky or heavy items (over 4 kg or cubic equivalent)

  • Express Post deliveries

  • Orders where discount codes are applied

Free shipping activates automatically at checkout when all conditions are met.

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking details and an estimated delivery window.
Delivery times begin from the date of dispatch, not the order date.


🪴 Click & Collect (Wardell, NSW)

We offer Click & Collect for local customers who prefer to pick up their orders in person.
Write our address at checkout — 1335 Wardell Road, Wardell, NSW.

You’ll receive a “Ready for Collection” email when your order is prepared.

Pickups are available by appointment only from our Wardell NSW location.
Please wait for confirmation before visiting, as our team is often packing orders throughout the day.

 

  1. International delivery
  • International orders will be processed and dispatched within 10 business days.
  • International delivery costs and times vary significantly depending on the package destination. International shipping rates are calculated at the time of checkout and payment.
  • Orders shipped to a destination outside of Australia may be subject to import duties, taxes or other costs in the destination country. We are not responsible for any additional charges, including taxes, duties or custom fees or requirements for the package. You are responsible for any duty, taxes, fees, costs, expenses or custom fees or requirements associated with importing products purchased from us and which are shipped internationally.
  • We have no control over international processes, custom or border control procedures. Delays in delivery may occur.
  • We reserve the right to not ship to some countries. The customer will be advised before payment whether the package can be shipped to the desired country.
  1. Delivery restrictions
  • We deliver to New South Wales, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australian, Northern Territory and Tasmania
  1. Lost Packages

If the package is lost in transit, please contact Australia Post, and quote the tracking number provided in the dispatch confirmation email. If the carrier cannot locate the item, we will lodge an enquiry to locate the item.

It is your responsibility to ensure accurate delivery address and contact details. Multiple delivery attempts, re-direction or returned packages may attract additional fees which may be billed by the carrier.

We have no control over third-party agents responsible for delivering packages and recommend that you obtain insurance to cover delivery. Where possible we will assist you in any claim against a third-party delivery agent.

  1. Incomplete Orders

In limited circumstances, if multiple items have been purchased from us, and one or more items are temporarily unavailable, we will dispatch the available items in the order.

In the event of an incomplete order, we will make contact to discuss the items that cannot be immediately delivered. In most cases we will source the ordered items and have them delivered separately at our own cost. If we are unable to source the items, we will refund any product we cannot deliver.

  1. Damaged Items

Our refund policy applies to items damaged during delivery. If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please immediately take a photo and contact us.

  1. Handling

All orders will be shipped in durable packaging to ensure your purchase is not damaged during transit. Oldboy's Flowers is not responsible for delays, lost, or damaged products including plant shipments that have been delayed and died during transit, or orders sent to incorrect, invalid addresses or correct addresses.

We care about our customers, and we want you to receive your order in a timely manner. If we are experiencing delays to shipping or handling of your products, we will notify you using the contact details that you provided at the time of placing your order, as appropriate.

Any products bought by you from this Site will be shipped by a third-party delivery service. Upon delivery of the products to the third-party delivery services by Oldboy’s Flowers, all title in and risk to such products will pass to you. Oldboy's Flowers is not responsible for delays during transit and Oldboy’s Flowers expressly excludes all liability in relation to this.

We may send our bulbs without labels. The sizes of the bulbs and plants will vary.
  1. Tracking

We offer package tracking at time of checkout for free. Tracking codes will be sent by email when the order has been dispatched. Standard delivery times apply to tracked orders.

  1. Products damaged during delivery

In the event that the product ordered has been damaged during delivery through no fault of your own, please contact us as soon as possible.

Any damaged product must be returned unused and in the condition in which it was received, together with any packaging and other items received with the damaged product.

We will arrange to collect the damaged product and offer to replace it, or to refund you, provided that you have contacted us within 24 hours of delivery of the damaged product.

We accept no liability for lost deliveries. We recommend you send your product with tracking to ensure the package is delivered to us.
