White Twinkle Tiger Hybrid Lilium Bulb | White Side-Facing Lily Blooms - Oldboy&

Product Details

Brighten your summer garden with White Twinkle Tiger Hybrid Lilium, an elegant lily variety known for its crisp white, side-facing blooms and strong upright stems. With its clean colouring and refined form, White Twinkle is ideal for softening garden borders, adding contrast to colourful plantings, and creating a luminous display in mixed beds or cut flower arrangements.

Tiger Hybrid Liliums are valued for their strong garden performance, distinctive flower form and ability to return well in suitable conditions. White Twinkle offers a softer look than many brightly coloured tiger lilies, making it a beautiful choice for gardeners wanting structure, height and clean white summer flowers.

Growing to approximately 100–130cm tall, White Twinkle works well in garden beds, borders, naturalised plantings and cutting gardens. Its side-facing blooms add gentle movement to the garden and pair beautifully with pink, red, yellow, orange, burgundy or mixed lilium varieties.

Supplied as a dormant bulb, White Twinkle can be planted in garden beds or large pots in a full sun to part shade position with fertile, free-draining soil.

Planting & Care

Plant White Twinkle Lilium bulbs from June to September in a position with full sun to part shade. More sun generally encourages stronger flowering, although some afternoon protection can be beneficial in hotter climates.

Choose fertile, free-draining soil. Liliums dislike sitting in wet, heavy soil, so improve drainage before planting if needed. A slightly acidic soil is ideal, around pH 5.5–6.5.

Plant bulbs approximately 10–15cm deep and space around 20–30cm apart. In pots, use a quality, free-draining potting mix and choose a deep container with good drainage holes.

Water well after planting, then keep the soil lightly moist during active growth. Avoid waterlogging, especially while bulbs are dormant or just beginning to shoot.

Mulch around the plants to help retain moisture, protect the root zone and reduce soil temperature fluctuations. In frost-prone areas, mulch can also help protect bulbs through colder periods.

Feed during active growth with a balanced fertiliser or bulb fertiliser to support strong stems, healthy foliage and quality blooms.

Stake plants if needed, especially in windy or exposed areas. After flowering, remove spent blooms but leave the foliage to die back naturally so the bulb can store energy for the following season.

Flowering Time

Flowering: Mid to late summer, depending on climate and planting time.

Flowering can vary slightly between regions and seasons.
