Tall and perfect for garden borders or floral arrangements, this striking iris brings a touch of elegance to any landscape. As one of the tallest spring bulbs, it adds height and structure to beds and borders, while its straight stems make it an excellent choice for cut flowers. Supplied as dry bulbs, it thrives in cool to temperate climates and easily naturalizes for years of vibrant colour.

    🌿 FAQs

Is Dutch Iris 'Dutchy Blue' easy to grow?
Yes! It thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to semi-shade and is largely self-sufficient in most Australian climates.

Can I plant it in pots or containers?
Absolutely! Just ensure regular watering, as pots dry out faster than garden soil.

Do I need to water it often?
Not usually. Once established, Dutch Iris needs minimal watering unless there is a prolonged dry period.

When should I cut back the foliage?
Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering. This helps the bulb store energy for the next season.

Ideal for Cool to Temperate zones (1-4) and states like ACT, NSW (South), VIC, TAS, SA, and the QLD Tablelands, Dutch Iris 'Dutchy Blue' is a sophisticated yet easy-care addition to any garden! 🌿
