Australian Carrot – Daucus glochidiatus

A distinctive Australian native with small edible roots that can be harvested and prepared similarly to traditional carrots.

Native Parsnip – Trachymene incisa

An attractive native plant with delicate white flowers and an edible tuber that can be cooked and prepared similarly to conventional parsnip.

How to Plant Your Seed Bomb

Place the seed bomb onto prepared, weed-free soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Press it gently into the soil so it has good surface contact, but do not bury it deeply.

Water thoroughly after planting and keep the area consistently moist while the seeds germinate. Germination times will vary between species, and some native seeds may take longer to emerge than conventional garden seeds.

The species supplied are selected according to seasonal availability, and not every seed bomb will contain every species listed.

Germination is influenced by temperature, moisture, soil conditions and planting location and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Correct identification is essential before consuming any plant material. Keep the product information for future reference and only harvest plants once they have been positively identified. Some native foods require specific preparation before consumption, and unfamiliar, unripe or incorrectly identified plant material should not be eaten.
