Description

Complete larger garden spraying jobs with the Ryset 5 Litre Pressure Sprayer.

This manually operated pump sprayer combines a heavy-duty 5-litre pressure vessel with a fibreglass lance, trigger control, spray jets and a convenient shoulder strap. Its larger capacity provides more spraying time between refills, making it suitable for garden beds, shrubs, lawns, greenhouses and general property maintenance.

It can be used to apply water and compatible water-based garden products when permitted by their label directions.

Always check that the product being applied is suitable for use in a pressure sprayer. Follow its label directions, dilution rates, safety precautions and personal protective equipment requirements.

How to Use

  1. Place the sprayer on a stable, level surface.

  2. Release any remaining pressure before opening the vessel.

  3. Remove the pump assembly and add water or a correctly diluted, compatible solution.

  4. Do not exceed the maximum filling level marked on the sprayer.

  5. Securely refit the pump assembly.

  6. Pump the handle to build sufficient pressure.

  7. Fit the shoulder strap securely and position it comfortably.

  8. Direct the lance towards the intended treatment area.

  9. Operate the trigger to begin spraying.

  10. Release the pressure, empty the vessel and clean the sprayer after use.

Do not pump excessively. Stop pumping once sufficient pressure has been created for an even spray.

Using Garden Chemicals

Read the complete product label before placing any fertiliser, pesticide, fungicide or herbicide into the sprayer.

Do not assume that every product is compatible with the pressure vessel, seals, lance or jets. Avoid using flammable liquids, solvents or highly corrosive products unless their labels and the sprayer instructions specifically permit their use.

A separate, clearly labelled sprayer should be reserved for herbicides. Herbicide residue may damage desirable plants if the equipment is later used to apply fertilisers, tonics or pest treatments.

Never combine garden products unless their labels specifically state that they can be mixed safely.

Cleaning and Storage

  • Release all pressure before opening the sprayer

  • Empty the vessel immediately after use

  • Dispose of remaining solution according to its product label

  • Rinse the vessel, pump, hose, lance and jets thoroughly

  • Pump clean water through the sprayer to help remove residue

  • Do not store mixed garden products inside the vessel

  • Store empty and depressurised

  • Keep in a cool, shaded and dry position

  • Protect from frost, excessive heat and direct sunlight

  • Inspect the vessel, hose, seals, lance and trigger before use

  • Replace damaged or deteriorated components before operating
