Description

Dutch Iris ‘Alaska’ is a classic white Dutch Iris with clean, bright petals and a warm golden-yellow throat. Elegant, reliable and easy to grow, it makes a beautiful addition to spring garden beds, borders and cut flower arrangements.

Supplied as dormant bulbs, Dutch Iris are best planted in autumn for a stunning spring display. ‘Alaska’ looks especially effective when planted in groups, where the crisp white blooms can really stand out.

Planting & Maintenance

Plant Dutch Iris bulbs from February to April in well-drained soil. Water well after planting to help encourage strong root growth.

They perform best when planted in groups or drifts and can be used in garden borders, pots or as cut flowers. Once established, Dutch Iris can form clumps that may be lifted and divided after a few years if needed.
