Planting and Care

Plant in rich, free-draining soil with the neck and upper third of the bulb above soil level. Position in full sun or light shade and protect the tall flower stems from strong winds.

Water around the base after planting, avoiding water collecting in the bulb’s neck. Keep moderately moist during active growth without allowing the soil to become waterlogged. Feed during the leafy growth period to help replenish the bulb for the following season.

After flowering, remove the spent flower stem but retain the leaves until they naturally yellow and die back.
