Plant in a sunny position for the strongest flowering display. Agapanthus will also tolerate part shade.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil and water regularly while establishing. Once established, Agapanthus are generally hardy and drought tolerant.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose which variety I receive?
No. Plants purchased through this listing are selected at random from our available Agapanthus varieties.
Will multiple plants all be different?
Not necessarily. We will select from available stock, but duplicate varieties may be supplied.
What colours could I receive?
Depending on availability, flowers may be blue, violet-purple, white or bicolour.
Are Agapanthus drought tolerant?
Yes. Agapanthus are generally drought tolerant once established. Newly planted plants should be watered regularly while developing their root system.
Can Agapanthus grow in pots?
Yes. Agapanthus perform very well in pots provided the container has adequate drainage.
Do Agapanthus need full sun?
Full sun generally encourages the strongest flowering, although they can also tolerate part shade.
When will my Agapanthus flower?
Flowering time depends on the variety, climate and maturity of the plant. Most Agapanthus flower from spring through summer.
What size plant will I receive?
Plants are supplied in a 50mm pot or bare-rooted, depending on the selected option. Plants supplied are young and may not be flowering when dispatched.

I ordered these three bare rooted agapanthus plants from Oldboys Flowers on 1st December and they arrived yesterday - 8th December. As advised am keeping them in the shade for a few days and when looking a bit stronger will move them to a sunny-ish position. Much cheaper than Bunnings even with delivery fees. Very happy with the purchase so can recommend to others and I'll be back ordering in the not too distant future! Thank you Oldboys!!
2 days after planting dwarf agapanthus in my new garden bed. They are standing up very happy I think. I selected the plants with white flowers and have since ordered 10 dwarf red hot pokers in Citron. To plant slightly behind them. I’m new to growing plants in the garden but think with the organic soil and water they will grow , thank you you supplied very healthy plants to SA suzy
Going to plant these with the other agapanthus along the border of our driveway. We had beautiful agapanthus there but lost them when the house next door was built. I struggled trying to dig them up. I really can’t wait to see the flowers on this agapanthus. Great prices and fast shipping. Was packaged well!
Well packaged and very healthy 😊
Absolutely LOVE these Agapanthus. Recieved well wrapped and boxed safe and sound for transport to their new home. Roots are healthy, clean and lots to each plant. Leaves are lovely and green. I was so impressed with these that I'll be buying a whole lot more!! Definately value foroney, very competitive prices.
Unfortunately my package was half open and squashed but because of the great way they were packed my plants were in great condition. The Oldboy's always packed very well. I have planted them and have to wait patiently for them to grow. .
Agapanthus Lucky Dip – Mixed Varieties – Liliaceae – Agapanthaceae
They were very small but arrived in great condition snd very quickly. Thank you
It was a smooth experience buying your stock. There was a minor issue worth mentioning. I bought these bulbs as a gift and wanted to pay for them using Apple Pay. This made it awkward to put my friends address in instead of mine. Not impossible but awkward. Anyway I appreciate the variety of agapanthus you have to offer in the opportunity to buy the belladonna lilies. Thank you, Kym Skinner
Order arrived really quickly and plants were in perfect health. Very happy. Will buy again
